OCHSNER HEALTH is seeking well-qualified, dedicated physicians for the position of an Obstetric Nocturnist. They will play a critical role in our group practice model and function to ensure perinatal safety at the birth center. The nocturnist will support all established obstetrical patients through assessment in our obstetric triage unit and inpatient admissions including unregistered or walk-in patients.

Nocturnists will be on duty for an average of 5 evenings/nights per week, comprised of 8-hour shifts, and work as a team to provide continuous coverage. These shifts will occur regularly Sunday night thru Friday morning, excluding holidays. The successful candidate should be a board eligible/board certified obstetrician .
