Lifespan Physician Group (LPG): Bradley Hospital, affiliated hospitals of the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University has an opening for a clinical psychologist with expertise with substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders to join our Wave Clinic. Opportunities for Brown University Clinical Faculty appointments if desired. Candidates must have completed doctoral training and clinical internship from APA-Accredited programs.

About the Job:

• A primarily clinically focused position providing outpatient treatment to youth who have co-occurring substance use and mental health needs
• Evaluate and treat youth and their families utilizing evidence-based treatments including motivational enhancement therapy and cognitive behavioral therapies tailored to meet the needs of each youth and his or her family
• Opportunities exist for individual, family, and group work
• Opportunity to teach and provide supervision

• Work with a small multidisciplinary team including social work and psychiatry

About You:

• PhD or PysD in Clinical Child Psychology
• Licensed or license-eligible in Rhode Island
• Expertise working with adolescents and their families
• Experience working with substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders
• Desire to work in a team based care model
• Bring a passion for helping people struggling with mental illness
• Good sense of humor and a roll-up your sleeves mentality
