Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Surgeon to join our medical team. As a Surgeon, you will be responsible for performing surgical procedures to treat various medical conditions. You will work at the Veterans HealthCare Medical Center, providing high-quality care to Veterans. If you are passionate about surgery and have the necessary qualifications, we encourage you to apply.

Duties:

- Perform surgical procedures to treat patients with various medical conditions

- Assess patient conditions and determine the appropriate surgical approach

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans

- Monitor patient progress before, during, and after surgery

- Provide post-operative care and follow-up appointments

- Stay up-to-date with the latest surgical techniques and advancements in the field

- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records

- Adhere to professional standards and ethical guidelines

Qualifications:

- Medical degree from an accredited institution

- Valid license to practice as a Surgeon

- BC/BE in Surgery

- Extensive experience in performing surgical procedures

- Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination

- Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Skills:

- PTSD Care: Experience in providing surgical care for patients with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)

- Senior Care: Ability to provide specialized surgical care for elderly patients

- Hospital: Familiarity with hospital protocols and procedures

- Medical Records: Proficiency in maintaining accurate and organized medical records

- Standards: Familiarity with professional standards and guidelines for surgical practice

- Physiology Knowledge: Understanding of human physiology and its relevance to surgical procedures

- Discharge Planning: Ability to develop discharge plans for patients after surgery

- Basic Life Support: Certification in basic life support techniques
